Thankfully Becoming!

Hey people!

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. :)

I spent mine in my studio listening to Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” and working on some Christmas ornaments!

All together, I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Actually one of the best that I’ve ever had.

As some may know I made my favourite Asparagus Casserole.

I used College Inn vegan mushroom soup after learning about it in the Savannah Veggies and Vegans facebook group!

I added some corn starch to thicken it and it worked perfectly!

It was very YUMMY! Thanks for mentioning it!

I highly recommend Michelle Obama’s book!

It honestly made me cry a few times.

I also have more respect for Michelle and actually her whole family as people after listening to that book.

Thanks for making my Thanksgiving better Michelle.

:) I am thankful for you beyond words.

I know this is a small think but our car growing up was actually just like Barack’s.

Thank you for letting me know that I’m not alone in that.

I showed the first photo to my friend Mark Montanto as they were inspired by him.

I absolutely love Mark’s works as I’ve mentioned before. Please look him up. You will not regret it. :)

These are extra papers I had of my Fun sheets in the Copy Cure. Along with a notebook that I purchased for it.

None of this is free though, so if you have any suggestions as to a online temporary job I would appreciate it.

My first and main job will always be my art.

Another thing that I REALLY LOVE about Michelle Obamas book “Becoming” is that she mentions her feelings on nonprofits.

She doesn’t put them down by any means and is very kind about them.

She is just realistic as well and I appreciate that 100%!

My having worked for many years helping non-profits even more then I do today was before some financial issues came up for me and before I was actually capable of understanding them.

I fully understand the financial issues that it can cause today though.

I really appreciate knowing that I am not alone in feeling the way I do. In others defence, I have never been a good communicator.

I also absolutely LOVE her interview on Ellen. I’m sure those who follow me know my love of Ellen.
