Old and New art to share!

Hey people!
Getting bored at home, etc.?
Why not create art!?
That's what I've been doing so I had to suggest it!
This is my new work!

It was inspired by two friends of mine.
One had a talk and the idea for flowered glasses just came!

The other friend shared a game for people to name their favourite band!

I've always loved heart so that idea just came as well.
I made this collage to share the finished work with you.

I also wanted to update you all on the progress of my studio!

No I haven’t stopped painting it.

Thanks to those who cheer me up so I will have the energy to do it!

It IS taking awhile because I’m only one person but keep going for myself and others to be reminded that there is a brighter future ahead.

I may be physically working alone sometimes as many others but

I learned about a really great site while watching my usual Stars In The House show by Seth Rudetsky & James Wesley!

Stars In The House is a show featuring stars of stage and screen singing, performing live (from home!) on YouTube.

It promotes support for The Actors Fund’s services to help those most vulnerable to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

All while bringing joy to others and sharing the outstanding talents of those they feature!

Sunshinesongs is ths site I found out about!

Sunshinesongs was a one hour live event that shares 30 minutes of young performers showcasing their talents combined with live chat and interviews with select performers, and residents at senior living communities across the country.

I am beyond words happy to see that others have these options today!

Due to them, I have absolutely no doubt that they have a better chance at recovery.

Thank you for doing such a beautiful thing to help others!

This world needs that now!

Lastly, my friend Stephanie Menake posted about eyes in art and I was reminded of a series I did years ago.

To share it with Steph. and all of you I wanted to post a collage I made.

It was a study I did and didn’t really think about the deeper meaning at the time. I was just creating to create and really to deal with life.

Which is actually a #selfcareconfession too!

I love smoothies,I am vegan but I just can’t give up art.

I say can’t but I actually mean that I won’t give up art.

Visual arts and musicals are my main loves!

I don’t mention everyone by name but trust me if you share, etc. I am grateful for you.

I think those in different fields are connected by what they have been a part of often for years.

I could be wrong but I could be right. Either way, I am grateful to everyone I have EVER worked with, etc. and send hugs all around! All of you are talented and I truly believe all of you can do it!
