Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Works and Christmas!

Hey you guys! 🤗

I hope that you’re having a wonderful month.

I can’t believe that Christmas is right around the corner!!!🎄 Can you?! ❄️

I made a collage just for you to share some of the works I posted this week!

I added to most of them with a simple border but as some of you may know they are older works.

The one on the upper left or Karen is the only newer work.

I started her when I was live on twitch but never really finished her so I tried my hand at digitally painting her. I didn’t do her skin correctly because she looks like she has a sun burn or something.

Nobody can say that I didn’t try though!!!

The piece under Karen is an old ACEO that I made using toothpicks! I’m so proud of that! I’d find anything and everything to try making different textures in my works. It was always alot of fun!

The two collages showing shows that I was in are The Hobbit and Oliver.

Please note they are both years ago. Although, I will always absolutely LOVE musical theatre I would only work backstage or on costumes if asked today.

I was an elf in the Hobbit. My wig was actually a huge braid that they took out. My father (Les Taylor) was Gandalf and the voice of Smaug.

I was excited to be in Oliver because years ago, I was too ill to actually work on it and basically was just taken to rehearsals to watch. Although, I paid attention and learned when possible.

Amazingly a few years later I would be able to work backstage and help more! How? I have no clue but I do believe that everything happens for a reason.

This time, I had two roles! I was a villager, which is shown in the lower right side of my collage. If you look closely you’ll see that I had a blacked out tooth! A friend who I was working with came up with the idea to cover my tooth with a piece of black paper. It added to the role, which I personally loved doing!

My other role was a fancy lady. During that they put a pillow on my butt for me to stick out while I walked across the stage. It was fun!

Lastly, I have a collage that I made in support of

Stacey Abrams,

Raphael Warnock,

Wade Herring

and Jon Ossoff!!

They can count on me to always support them!

You can read more about them by going to their sites!

Contact them about any political issues and let your voices be heard because YOU MATTER!!!

Don’t ignore injustice because as the great Martin Luther King said injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Fear can paralyze a community and get people to become silent about the things that matter most.

Do not let others drag fear into your heart. Do not stay silent!

As said in Stephen King’s The Stand, Make your STAND!

This world will be better if people work together to help each other before more problems occur.

Huge thanks to KVADPhoto+PRO2 and Paint 3D for providing such wonderful options!

I have to suggest them to any artist!

Happy Holidays!

Until next time.

Namaste,

Angela
