Collages, Mothers Day and Benadryl!

Hey you guys!

I hope that you had a wonderful Mothers Day!

I have a few things to share with you all this week!

First is a collage that I made showing some of the jewellery that I’ve made!

If you’re already following me on Facebook or Instagram you may have seen them. I add them to LinkedIn from time to time as well.

I hope that you all like it. Some of my artists friends have been creating works based on owls.

What a hoot!

I wanted to share some of my owl related jewellery due to that.

As some of you may know, last month I had a scare with Benadryl.

This was not caused from randomly taking Benadryl but having been put on it long term everynight since 2022. At first my blood pressure went up. I never had issues with high blood pressure before. I asked a nurse practitioner about it, she assured me that it was not the Benadryl and to keep taking it. My dr. knew that I had Epilepsy but had me seeing this nurse practitioner.

I suppose my health wasn’t important enough for a dr. or to research things that could harm me.

I later had a seizure that put me in so much pain that it was hard to walk! I waited until I could walk to make an appointment. A couple drs were in the room but I honestly can’t recall that much.

I later had one panic attack after another and could not calm myself at all. It was the weirdest thing that I had ever experienced.

I’ve had panic attacks and could usually calm myself but this one went on for an hr. or so. The ER was called and after awhile I calmed down a bit but would go right back into it. I couldn’t feel my legs at all, which freaked me out. I think it eventually made me have a focal seizure but I wasn’t really there, so couldn’t tell you.

They gave me meds that eventually calmed me.

After seeing a photo on the news of a mothers son in the hospital due to Benadryl, I researched it. I found that long term Benadryl had infact worsened seizures in others with Epilepsy. I would not have known if not for that photo! I truly hope that you had a wonderful Mothers Day!

You and your son are both inspirations and I will continue to post my warning because of your inspiration to do so. I’m also posting this video to help create awareness of the harm Benadryl can do. I hope that all dr.s here in Ga. watch and learn from this amazing doctor!!! PLEASE DO NOT HARM YOUR PATIENTS! Please learn the facts about Benadryl.

Don’t ignore injustice because as the great Martin Luther King said injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Fear can paralyze a community and get people to become silent about the things that matter most.

Do not let others drag fear into your heart. Do not stay silent!

As said in Stephen King’s The Stand, Make your STAND!

This world will be better if people work together to help each other before more problems occur.
