Hey you guys!

Although, I have been painting my studio, etc.

I’ve been reading, posting, etc. on Substack too as some of you may know.

Growing up, I was to ill to watch that much of the news and certainly didn’t really understand it all but Dan Rather was often on it.

The main thing that I could remember at that time was music. I can’t honestly say that I understood the meaning behind each piece but I could remember the music itself. Which was odd because I couldn’t remember or concentrate well growing up. It was also a bit hard for me because being the choir director/ music directors daughter, I felt as if I never matched up.

The healing power of the arts is, always has been and always will be amazing!

It was about what is going on today and is called A Reason to Smile.

I realise that there have been dark times in history and people thrived due to those like Dan Rather and Sheryl Crow who let people know to keep going!

These are dark times again, so thank you to any and all people who help others today.

Speaking of people who help others, I wanted to share a photo and talk about the book that I am reading at the moment.

I can’t say how many times I will be posting about this because unless I am listening to an audio version of a book while painting, etc. it usually takes awhile for me to finish a book.

I have to be doing multiple things at once, I have never known why that is.

Doing multiple things isn’t possible when reading though, which makes it a tad harder for me. It also means that I’m willing to put ALL of my attention into ONE thing, even if it’s hard for me. TO ME, some things are worth that.

This book is based on the cult NXIVM led by Keith Raniere and goes over Sarah Edmondsons experience in it.

It REALLY breaks my heart knowing what those in NXIVM went through. That being so I wanted to share this to lighten up the situation!!!
